Woman killed in Watertown crash

A Watertown woman is killed in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 212. It happened shortly before 5:00 this morning.

The Watertown Police Department says 43 year-old Dawn Meyer was driving an eastbound car when a westbound car driven by a juvenile Minnesota male crossed the center line, causing a head-on collision.

Meyer was pronounced dead at the scene. The juvenile male was transported to the a hospital with serious injuries.

Highway 212 was closed for a short time after the crash.
