Woman killed in single-vehicle crash in Hanson County

One person died Friday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash southwest of Alexandria in Hanson County.

The name of the person involved has not yet been released pending notification of family.

According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, the driver of a Jeep lost control on a gravel road. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled.

The 48-year-old female driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle.
