Woman hurt in motorcycle accident north of Elkton

A Sioux Falls woman is injured in a motorcycle accident north of Elkton.

Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says it happened about 6:45 p.m. Monday on 209th Avenue. He says 59-year-old Dianne West was eastbound on 209th Street near 486th Avenue when she lost control driving through a patch of mud. West lost control and the cycle tipped over.

She was taken by Elkton ambulance to the Brookings Hospital with unknown injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
