Unemployment claims fall in South Dakota

South Dakota unemployment claims drop for the week ending August 15th.
The state Department of Labor and Regulation says 741 initial weekly claims for unemployment were filed last week. That’s a decrease of 232 claims from the prior week.
The latest number of continued state claims also went down, falling to 14,715 for the week ending August. 1st, a decrease of 749 from the prior week’s total.
