Two people killed after a vehicle crashes into a Rapid City Apartment Building

Rapid City police say two people are dead and a third is critical after a vehicle crashed into an apartment building late Tuesday night.

A vehicle traveling at high speed lost control and struck an apartment building.

The crash killed two people inside the vehicle and a third was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The names are being withheld until family can be notified.

The crash also severed a gas line, resulting in the evacuation of residents inside the building.
