Two people file for Brookings School Board

Two people have filed for positions on the Brookings School Board.

Wes Tschetter, who was appointed to the post when Jennifer Lacher-Starace resigned, has filed to run for a one-year term.

Incumbent Van Fishback has filed for a three-year term.

The seat currently held by School Board President Melissa Heermann is also up this year.

No one has yet filed for Brookings City Council, The seats are curretnly held by Mary Kidwiler and Holly Tilton-Byrne are both up this year.

The deadline to file petitions is February 22 and the city election is April Ninth.
