Two Brookings burglaries under investigation

Brookings police are investigating two burglaries.

Assistant Chief Derrick Powers says Prairie Lanes was entered sometime between 10:00 o’clock Thursday night and 6:00 o’clock Friday morning. Alcohol was stolen.

Also, a residence on the 700 block of 11th Avenue was entered sometime Friday night or early Saturday morning. Powers says the residents noticed some damage and called police.

During a walk through, it was discovered that two gaming systems had been stolen. They’re valued at $500.
