Two arrested in Hendricks meth bust

Law enforcement seized more than 60 grams of methamphetamine from a Hendricks residence on Friday morning and two people were arrested.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says 55-year-old Karen Kaye Gronewald and 57-year-old Todd Michael Finnegan were arrested for controlled substance sales and possession of drugs in a school zone.

Several law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant on the 200 block of South Park Street in Hendricks at about around 9:00 o’clock Friday morning.

The search led to law enforcement seizing the methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia, items commonly used to distribute drugs and about $3,000 in cash.

An unknown powdery substance was also seized and will be tested.

The Sheriff’s Office says additional charges could be filed as the investigation continues.
