Three have filed for Brookings School Board

Three people have filed for the three positions open on the Brookings School Board.

Board President Melissa Heermann has filed for a three-year position as has incumbent Van Fishback.

Wes Tschetter, who was appointed to the post when Jennifer Lacher-Starace resigned, has filed to run for a one-year term.

No one has yet filed for Brookings City Council, The seats currently held by Mary Kidwiler and Holly Tilton-Byrne are both up this year.

The deadline to file petitions is February 22 and the city and school election is April 9th.
