Thefts reported at two Elkton-area dairies

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating thefts at local dairies.

Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says there was a report of stolen power tools taken from Crosswinds Dairy near Elkon. This was reported late last Wednesday, and the Sheriff’s Office says they have video of a suspect, described as a Hispanic Male.

The second theft was also last Wednesday and took place at Hilltop Dairy of rural Elkton. Again, several tools were taken and the Sheriff’s Office says the same suspect is believed to be involved. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at 692-STOP.
