Suspect stole vehicles in Canby and Brookings County

Authorities are looking for the person who stole vehicles in Minnesota and Brookings County.
Brookings County Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says a 2008 Chevy pickup stolen in Canby, Minnesota was found abandoned in the road southeast of Estelline at 46809 196th Street.
The suspect entered a shop at that residence and stole a 1994 gray Ford F-350 pickup and headed east on 196th St. There was a Remington 1911 .45 caliber handgun with two fully loaded magazines inside the vehicle.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at 692-STOP.
