Shop, vehicles and equipment damaged in fire west of Bruce

A Friday fire causes extensive damage to a shop and equipment west of Bruce.

Brookings County Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says Arlington, Bruce , Brookings, and Sinai Fire Departments all responded to the fire in the shop located on 455th Avenue near 204th Street. It was reported shortly after 5:00 pm.

The shop contained a semi truck, many tools, vehicles and equipment.

The cause of the fire remains unknown.

Damage to the structure and contents is estimated at $300,000.
