Sheriff’s Office investigating burglary near Volga

The Brookings County Sheriff’s office is investigating a burglary at a business east of Volga near the intersection of U.S. Highway 14 and 466th Avenue.

It was reported Monday afternoon and had happened around 5:00 o’clock that morning.

Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says multiple suspects entered the business by forcing a door open. Once inside, they took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and multiple video lottery machines. A number of lottery machines were damaged.
