Sheriff’s Office investigates rural Brookings burglary

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary that was reported Saturday evening at a business on the 3400 block of Main Avenue South.

Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says entry was forced into an office door. A cash box containing an undisclosed amount of money was stolen.
