Seven COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota’s weekly tally

Seven COVID-19 deaths reported Wednesday in the Department of Health weekly update – the statewide total is 3221. This after no deaths were reported alst week.

There have been 342 new cases statewide in the last week and hospitalizations decrease by four to 29. There have been 282,137 total cases.

In Brookings County, there have been 19 new cases reported in the last week, raising the overall total to 3,737. There are 22 reported deaths in the county. Currently, there are no hospitalizations reported in Brookings County for COVID-19.
