SDSU commencement Saturday and Sunday, portion of Medary Avenue will be closed

A portion of Medary Avenue in Brookings will be closed for several hours Saturday and Sunday for commencement at SDSU.

Graduation ceremonies will be held on the College Green and Medary Avenue will be closed from 8th to 11th streets from 8 to 11:45 a.m. and 2:30 to 5:45 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday’s ceremonies are for the colleges of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences and Natural Sciences in the morning; and for the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in the afternoon.

Sunday’s ceremonies are for the colleges of Education and Human Sciences and Nursing in the morning; Engineering, Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions in the afternoon.

Also, the University Student Union’s Market and Volstorff Ballroom will be available for viewing all of the ceremonies.
