SD Legislature accepting applications from high school students to serve as pages during 2024 session

The South Dakota Legislature is accepting applications from South Dakota high school students interested in serving as pages for the 2024 Session.

The program is open to high school juniors and seniors, including home-schooled students, from any school district in the state.

The 99th Legislative Session runs from January 9th to March 25th. For pages, the session is divided into five terms.

Pages receive $55 for each legislative day they serve.

To apply, students must have signed sponsorship approval from a current legislator
and submit a completed application and cover letter.

The preferred application deadline is October 6, 2023, with a final deadline of October 20, 2023.
