Pipestone man injured in Brookings County accident

A Pipestone, Minnesota man is hurt in a Tuesday morning accident on Highway 14 east of Brookings.

Brookings County Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says a pickup driven by 20-year-old Tristan Bergmann was headed west on 14 at about 7:45 a.m. and lost control on the slippery road. The vehicle entered the north ditch and rolled. Bergmann was transported to the Brookings Hospital with unknown injuries by the Elkton Ambulance.

It happened near the Highway 14 intersection with 483rd Avenue.

The Elkton Fire Department also responded to the accident.
