Pioneer Days in White has been cancelled

No Pioneer Days in White this year. The event was cancelled by an act of the White City Council on Friday evening.

The event, which had been set for July 16-19 was moving forward. An executive order from Mayor Aspen Thorstenson last week initially cancelled the event because of the ongoing pandemic.

Organizers requested a decision from the Council and that came Friday evening. The vote to cancel Pioneer Days was 3-1 with one Council Member abstaining.
