One man injured in Volga accdient

A man is injured in a Monday morning accident in Volga.

Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says a minivan driven by 81-year-old Harold VanHoepen of Volga went out of control and collided with a parked semi-trailer. It happened just before 10:30 am on the 100 block of 1st Street.

VanHoepen was transported to the Brookings Hospital by Brookings Ambulance for unknown injuries.

The sheriff’s office is investigating.
