One COVID-19 death reported in South Dakota Wednesday, the total is now 1924.

Active cases in Brookings County increase by 8 to 103. Total cases increase by 17 to 3734. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County and there are 3,594 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 134. The County is in the “substantial” community spread category.

Statewide, active cases increase by 110 to 2350. Total cases increase by 276 to 116,370. The number of people who have recovered is 112,096. Current hospitalizations increase by 2 to 72.

Some 357,723 vaccinations have been administered in the state to 223,684 people. A total of 10,921 doses have been given in Brookings County to 7616 people.
