No COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Tuesday, the total holds at 1923.

Active cases in Brookings County decrease by 3 to 95. Total cases increase by 3 to 3717. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County and there are 3,585 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 134. The County is in the “substantial” community spread category.

Statewide, active cases decrease by 4 to 2240. Total cases increased by 128 to 116,100. The number of people who have recovered is 111,937. Current hospitalizations increase by 8 to 70.

Some 351,033 vaccinations have been administered in the state to 219,400 people. A total of 10,819 doses have been given in Brookings County to 7532 people.
