No COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Monday, the total holds at 1923.

Active cases in Brookings County increase by 2 to 98. Total cases increase by 2 to 3714. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County and there are 3,579 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 133. The County is in the “substantial” community spread category.

Statewide, active cases increase by 11 to 2244. Total cases increased by 105 to 115,972. The number of people who have recovered is 111,805. Current hospitalizations increase by 3 to 62.

Some 350,149 vaccinations have been administered in the state to 218,702 people. A total of 10,810 doses have been given in Brookings County to 7523 people.
