No COVID-19 cases reported in South Dakota Monday; slight drop in active cases

No COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Monday, the total remains 1933.

Active cases in Brookings County decrease by one to 127. Total cases increase by 4 to 3803. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County and there are 3,639 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 136. The County is in the “substantial” community spread category.

Statewide, active cases decrease by 19 to 2393. Total cases increase by 92 to 117,336. The number of people who have recovered is 113,010. Current hospitalizations increase by 11 to 91.

Some 402,066 vaccinations have been administered in the state to 248,063 people. A total of 13,104 doses have been given in Brookings County to 8478 people.
