Nine COVID-19 deaths reported Wednesday, including one in Brookings County

Nine COVID-19 deaths reported Wednesday in the Department of Health weekly update – the statewide total is now 3190. One of the deaths was reported in Brookings County.

There have been 641 new cases statewide in the last week and hospitalizations have decreased by ten to 68. There have been 279,130 total cases.

In Brookings County, there have been 22 new cases reported in the last week, raising the overall total to 3,672. There are now 22 reported deaths in the county. Currently, one person is hospitalized in Brookings County for COVID-19.
