March 29 is voter registration deadline for Brookings City and School Election

Voter registration for the Brookings City and School Board Election will close on Monday, March 29 at 5:00 p.m.

If you don’t know for certain if you’re registered, check the Voter Information Portal at the South Dakota Secretary of State’s website or call the Brookings County Finance Office at 696-8250.

Voter registration may be completed during regular business hours at the City Clerk’s Office, County Finance Office, Secretary of State’s Office online as well as driver’s licensing locations and some other state offices.

The election will be held on Tuesday, April 13th. There is a full slate of candidates.

Early voting begins March 29th.
