Man killed in collision of semi trucks in Todd County

One man was killed Tuesday afternoon as two semis collide north of Parmelee in Todd County/

Names have not been released pending notification of family.

The South Dakota Highway patrol reports a semi with trailer stopped at an intersection at Highway 63. The driver turned onto the hioghway in front of a second semi truck and trailer. The two collided, causing the 1st semi to roll over. The 82-year-old man drivng that semi as wearing a seatbelt and was not hurt.

The 51-year-old man driving the second semi was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained fatal injuries.
