Madison man sentenced on federal child porn charge

A Madison man has been convicted in federal court of Receipt and Distribution of Child Pornography.

Twenty-six-year-old Treton Anderson was sentenced to 15 years and six months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release. Anderson must also register as a sex offender upon his release.
The conviction stemmed from incidents between December of 2021, and June of 2022.

Anderson used his cellphone and the internet to distribute digital files containing child pornography.
