Lawn watering ban in Brookings Wednesday through Friday

Brookings Municipal Utilities and the City of Brookings is asking for the community’s support. Due to the 22nd Avenue construction project, BMU will be shutting off the 22nd Avenue water tower for three days to connect the new water pipe. In order to make sure there is an adequate water supply, they’re implementing a lawn watering ban for the duration of that work.

BMU is requesting that all customers cease lawn watering activities from Wednesday, July 10th through Friday, July 12th.
