Golf carts stolen from Brookings Country Club

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of four golf carts from the Brookings Country Club.

Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says it’s believed to have happened sometime between Monday and Tuesday of last week.. It may be related to golf cart thefts that occurred in late July of last year when two were stolen from the Country Club and many more were taken from other courses in the region.

The golf carts are Club Car Brand and are blue in color. The carts are owned by NB Golf Carts of Hendricks, MN, and are leased by the Brookings Country Club. The total loss is $18,000.
