Four LGBTQ Pride Flags stolen from downtown Brookings

Brookings police are investigating the theft of at least four pride flags from downtown Brookings. In addition, the flag poles were damaged.

Assistant Police Chief Derrick Powers says it was reported early Sunday morning and had likely happened sometime overnight.

One of the flags has been recovered.

Two of the flags were located at 4th and Main, one at 5th and Main and one at 3rd and Main.

Powers says police are looking for any businesses that might have video showing.
