Four COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Monday. The total is now 2014

Active cases in Brookings County decrease by 3 to 12. There is 1 new case and the total is now 4231. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County and there are 4182 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 160. The County is in the “moderate” community spread category.

Statewide, active cases go down by 9 to 382. Total cases increase by 31 to 124,191. There are 121,795 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations drop by 5 at 44.

Fifty-four percent of the state has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Some 653,320 vaccinations have been administered in the state to 351,210 people. A total of 26,370 doses have been given in Brookings County to 14,430 people.
