Foul play not suspected after man’s body is found in a Brookings parking lot

Brookings police say foul play was not involved in the death of a man whose body was found early last Tuesday morning.

The unresponsive male was found on the ground in a parking lot on the 3000 block of Lefevre Drive. Police and ambulance responded but the man was deceased.

Assistant Chief Derrick Powers now says police have determined foul play was not involved in the death and there is not any danger to the public.

No other details are being released.
