Five COVID-19 deaths reported in the South Dakota weekly report

Five COVID-19 deaths reported Wednesday in the Department of Health weekly update – the statewide total is now 3214

There have been 435 new cases statewide in the last week and hospitalizations increase by seven to 48. There have been 281,443 total cases.

In Brookings County, there have been six new cases reported in the last week, raising the overall total to 3,709. There are 22 reported deaths in the county. Currently, there are no hospitalizations reported in Brookings County for COVID-19.
