Fire destroys Gettysburg business

GETTYSBURG, S.D. (AP) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a Gettysburg business.

R&K Mechanical caught fire about 3 a.m. Tuesday and quickly became engulfed. The business offered concrete, welding, carpentry and earth-moving services.

Potter County Emergency Manager Cheryl Sautner says no one was injured, but the building is a total loss.
