COVID-19 cases hit 240 in South Dakota, Brookings County listed as community spread

There are now 240 confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Dakota.

Brookings County stands at three confirmed cases.Two have recovered. Brookings County is now listed as community spread, in the minimal/moderate category.

There have been 5353 negative tests and 84 people have recovered from the virus. There are two confirmed COVID-19 related fatalities in the state, but that will likely soon increase with the reported death of state Representative Bob Glanzer of Huron.

There is community spread in 19 counties. Minnehaha has now topped 100 cases with 104 confirmed. Eighteen people from Minnehaha County have recovered.
