City of Brookings closures extended through May 6th

The City of Brookings announces an extension of closues due to the coronavirus pandemic.

All City-operated facilities will remain closed through May 6th, extending the original April 6th date.
The extension applies to all City offices, facilities, and City-operated businesses. City of Brookings related events and activities scheduled through May 6th are also canceled or postponed.

However, City departments continue to operate and provide services to the community. Residents should contact City departments by phone, email, and through online services to submit requests, applications, and to make payments.

And, the City encourages people to use the new Engage Brookings App and website service to make requests and to contact departments directly.
