The Brookings County Sheriff’s Department is investigating another burglary, this time at the City of Sinai Maintenance Shop.

Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says it happened sometime between Tuesday evening and when it was discovered Thursday afternoon.

The exterior door to the shop was left unlocked, but someone used a pry bar to gain entry to a locked interior room. They stole a Stihl Chainsaw, two weed eaters, and a tool box with multiple tools. The value of the stolen items and damage to the lock and door is unknown at this time.

Anyone with any information about this should contact the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at 692-STOP.
