Building, equipment lost in fire near Arlington

Fire departments from Arlington and Bruce battle a storage building fire just east of Arlington at 45474 209th Street.

The Brookings County Sherifff’s Department and Arlington Ambulance also responded. It was reported about 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10th.

Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says the building was a complete loss along with electrical equipment, a skid loader, a back hoe/trencher, a four-wheeler, cable plows, and miscellaneous tools. The value of the barn and items is unknown. The cause of the fire is also not known.

The fire is under investigation with the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
