Brookings Health System named to top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals list for 9th straight year

For the ninth consecutive year, Brookings Health System has been named to the Chartis Center for Rural Health Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals list.

The annual recognition honors outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals.

Health System President and CEO Jason Merkley says it “speaks to the high-quality, compassionate, personalized health care our team delivers day-in and day-out.”

Based on publicly available data, the list is seen as the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance.
