Brookings Health System makes Newsweek List of “World’s Best Hospitals”

Brookings Health System has been named, for the fourth time, to Newsweek’s list of World’s Best Hospitals.

Health System President and CEO Jason Merkley says they are proud to be the only South Dakota hospital outside of Sioux Falls to be on the list. He says it demonstrates their commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate, personalized health care.

Brookings Health ranks 189 of the Best Hospitals 2024 in the United States, up 40 spots from last year’s ranking. In addition, Brookings Health has received a Patient Experience Award, marking high patient satisfaction.

The list recognizes the best medical institutions across 30 countries.
