Brookings County Sheriff investigating intentional damage to property

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating intentional damage to property at a residence north of Brookings.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says someone drove onto the property and ran over a newly planted tree in the front yard. It happened sometime Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
The residence is located on 473rd Avenue near 207th Street.
Damage is estimated at $400.
