Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce Announces Biggar as Director of Downtown Brookings

The Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce Ashley Biggar of Brookings, South
Dakota as the new Director of Downtown Brookings. Biggar currently works at the Swiftel Center as an
Event Manager and will begin her new role at the Chamber on April 10, 2019.

The Director of Downtown Brookings is a visionary leader that works with the Downtown committee to
meet strategic objectives and goals. Biggar will be responsible for the development, conduct, execution
and documentation of programs and events that promote the Downtown Business District. She will be
the principal on-site staff person responsible for coordination of all program activities and volunteers, as
well as representing the Downtown District regionally and nationally, as appropriate. Biggar will work
closely with the Chamber President, Downtown Committee Chair and members, City of Brookings, and
business leaders to reach identified goals and objectives.
