BMU, City of Brookings to hold open house on upcoming projects

The City of Brookings and Brookings Municipal Utilities will host an informational open house on upcoming construction projects.

The meeting is set for Thursday, April 11, 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.at the Brookings City & County Government Center. People are welcome to come and go as their schedules allow.

Each project will have detailed maps that highlight detours, timelines and other impacts, such as potential water service interruptions.

Infrastructure and roadway improvements will significantly impact 22nd Avenue near the Research Park, University Boulevard on campus, and 34th Avenue South near Dacotah Bank Center.
