7 more COVID-19 cases in South Dakota, bringing the total to 28

There are 7 additional cases reported in South Dakota today, bringing the total to 28.

Two of them are in Beadle County, 1 in Codington, 1 in Davison, 1 in Hughes, 1 in Lyman and 1 in McCook.

Governor Noem says their projections indicate that some 30% of South Dakotans will get the virus. She stresses that most (80%) will have no symptoms or minor symptoms. Noem says they believe there is now community spread in Beadle County.

There are still no cases reported in Brookings County.

The latest numbers have been posted at the South Dakota Department of Health website.
