25 COVID-19 deaths reported Thursday, including 1 in Brookings County

Twenty-five COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Thursday, raising the total to 1544. One of the deaths is from Brookings County.

Active cases in Brookings County increased by 12 to 284. Total cases are up by 39 to 3131. There have now been 31 deaths in Brookings County and there are 2816 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 107. The County is in the substantial community spread category.

Statewide, active cases decrease by 312 to 6075. Total cases have increased by 448 to 102,132. The number of people who have recovered is 94,513. Current hospitalizations hold steady at 264.
