13 COVID-19 deaths reported over the weekend in South Dakota

Thirteen COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota since Friday. The total is now 1844.

Active cases in Brookings County decrease by 3 to 109. Total cases up by 16 to 3535. There have been 35 deaths in Brookings County and there are 3391 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 121. The County is in the substantial community spread category.

Statewide, active cases decrease by 107 over the weekend to 2073. Total cases have increased by 247 to 110,315. The number of people who have recovered is 106,398. Current hospitalizations increase by 3 to 87.

Some 152,992 vaccinations have been administered in the state to 103,895 people. A total of 4178 doses have been given in Brookings County to 2847 people.
